Bobby Kerr’s ‘Open for Business’ roadshow came to town today, broadcasting live on Newstalk from Greentech HQ One of the primary goals of the series is to get a sense of how businesses in the town are faring.

 

Joining Bobby to discuss what it’s like to do business in Enniscorthy were several local figures, including Matt Ronan of Evolv Health & Wellbeing Store Dermot Kavanagh of Smyths Homevalue, Esperanza Hernandez of Old Roots Winery & Vineyard, Colm Neville, owner of the Riverside Park Hotel & Leisure Club Mary B. Walsh, Managing Director of Ire Wel Pallets Ltd, and Pat Hernan, General Manager of Murphy Precast in Enniscorthy. Liam Griffin and Ivan Yates also discussed Enniscorthy’s future prospects and Rosslare Europort Expansion, while People Editor Darragh Clifford and Ann Power reviewed local business stories.

Retail Consultant Eddie Shanahan and Planning Expert Conor Skehan offered an analysis of Enniscorthy’s current challenges and opportunities, outlining the key areas where the town stands today and what it needs to do to build a brighter future. Bobby was also Out & About at the 1798 Rebellion Centre to brush up on his Irish history.
