The Wilds
We visited The Wilds located in Weafer Street which was founded and created in 2015 by husband and wife team Paula Asple and Simon Nelson. The period features of the property inside this lifestyle store and award winning cafe provide the perfect backdrop to showcase the designer collections of stylish homewares, furniture and accessories.
When the couple returned to Ireland they chose to base themselves in Gorey with every intention of setting up in Dublin, but when the former convent building came up they knew it needed to be lovingly restored.
A modern rustic space where thoughtful industrial design meets good food and a warm welcome – Ideal for browsing either before or after you sample the café’s delights (which by the way, also boasts a mezzanine level that offers plenty of comfortable seating and lots of well-used corners.)
