Cotton Tree Cafe

Ten years ago Mary and John Redmond opened the Cotton Tree Cafe on Slaney Place – Originally started as a tearoom, it has evolved into a fully fledged eatery. Now operated by their son Dylan, the team always strive to – just make someone’s day a little bit brighter or make their lives easier with some tasty food and a warm smile.

In truth, growing up as a 3rd generation chef (mother and grandmother have an impressive culinary heritage) Mary was born into the hospitality industry. In spite of, the family plan for her to pursue a career outside the industry, Mary took advantage of all of those culinary influences and food memories and incorporated them into the Cotton Tree, helping evolve the cafe to what it is today. The menu consists of delicious salads, sandwiches and deserts, (as well as their famous kinder Bueno hot chocolates) and a notable breakfast menu which is a big hit in town!

It’s safe to say it has been their passion and curiosity for food that has made this cafe such a success in Enniscorthy for the past 10 years.
