Brennan’s

Take a look around the new Brennan’s of Enniscorthy and its significant renovations! The Brennan family have thoughtfully refurbished the pub in Templeshannon – and have now opened its doors following the substantial refurbishment. The husband-and-wife team is bringing a fresh, unique offering to Enniscorthy, and despite the extensive changes—described as “significant”—they have preserved the venue’s authentic charm. The updates include a refreshed interior decor while carefully maintaining original features like the exposed brickwork and new booth seating, blending modern comfort with the traditional pub feel.

Peter’s mother, Ellen (pictured below) with her husband Pat Brennan owned and operated several well known pubs in Enniscorthy and Courtown, including the Boolavogue Inn. In 1989, she relocated to Birmingham, where she purchased “The Marquis of Lorne,” a pub that has since famously featured in the “Peaky Blinders” TV series. Throughout this period, Peter and family remained close to Enniscorthy, regularly visiting and reconnecting with family and friends. Peter, having inherited his family’s passion for hospitality, and spoke warmly of his return to his roots and the opportunity to continue that tradition.
In a unique twist, the Brennan family do not be serve Guinness but offer their own Brennan’s Irish Stout. Additionally, they have made the decision to prioritise beer that is exclusively brewed in Ireland, increasing the authentic experience they aim to provide.
